E-CTFE lined semi-trailer

The transportation company primarily transports Class 8 (corrosive chemicals). They have been using rubber-lined trailer tanks to transport liquid chemicals that require special handling. A rubber-lined tank cannot be used to transport different chemicals—such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium hypochlorite, etc.—in the same tank. The customer was forced to purchase a separate trailer for each chemical, which resulted in a lot of empty runs and high costs.

The old 38 m³ tank weighed 10,200 kilograms; the new 38 m³ E-CTFE-lined composite tank weighs 7,700 kg, so now 2,500 kilograms more material can be transported in both directions. Compartments were built into the tanks to meet the customer’s needs, so a single transport tank was sufficient to meet the customer’s requirements going forward.
